Call: RAISE High-level Academic Advisory Board

DG RTD is looking for a high-level Academic Advisory Board for RAISE.

RAISE – the Resource for AI Science in Europe combines Europe’s leading AI talent, computational power, data and research funding.

Our goal is to accelerate breakthroughs in fundamental AI research and applications across scientific disciplines such as medicine, climate science and advanced materials.

As an expert, you would support RAISE with:

• Independent scientific advice on advancing research in and with AI
• Recommendations on advancing RAISE as a robust European virtual institute, together with the scientific community
• Guidance on the framework conditions for achieving the objectives of RAISE

What are we looking for?

• Academic and scientific excellence in AI research
• Expertise at the interface of fundamental AI research and domain science (health, climate, advanced materials, social sciences, and beyond)
• A track record of engagement with and across scientific communities working with and on AI
