RAISE Hub: The Gateway to Europe’s AI-Enabled Science

Welcome to raise4science.eu !

On Thursday, October 15, the RAISE Hub officially launches during the AI in Science Summit 2026 (AIS26).

RAISE Hub is designed to serve as a single, integrated gateway to gather information, knowledge, initiatives, and communities surrounding AI in scientific research across Europe.

Building Europe’s Virtual Research Institute

RAISE (Resource for AI Science in Europe) is a European Commission initiative that forms the cornerstone of the European Strategy for AI in Science. It aims to establish a virtual European research institute connecting computing, data, expertise, funding, and training. Through this framework, researchers across Europe can collaborate using trustworthy, open, and sustainable AI at scale—accelerating scientific discovery, strengthening European scientific sovereignty, and enhancing global competitiveness.
Currently in its pilot phase, RAISE is coordinated by the SCIANCE project. SCIANCE uses a community-driven approach to bring together scientists, AI researchers, digital infrastructures, and policymakers. Together, they work to identify strategic scientific challenges where AI can deliver the greatest impact and accelerate the adoption of sustainable AI methods across the continent.

Key Components of the RAISE Hub

The RAISE Hub acts as the central access point for resources on European AI-enabled science and RAISE, including direct links to existing initiatives, platforms, good practices, and project updates.

Its key components are:

RAISE Hub

this website is the central access point for European AI in Science initiatives, activities, resources, news, events, good practices and funding opportunities

RAISE Hub

RAISE Forum

community platform enabling researchers, infrastructure providers, funders, public contributors, decision-makers, and project leaders to collaborate across Europe. Participants can share research findings, good practices, and community events, as well as contribute to consultation and feedback processes shaping the future of AI in science

RAISE Forum

RAISE Observatory

discovery and analytics service delivering up-to-date information and insights on the European AI in Science ecosystem. It helps users map and explore organizations, projects, infrastructures, funding activities, and scientific outputs to support ecosystem discovery and strategic analysis
