The AI and Computing Infrastructures Working Group focuses on the digital ecosystems required to enable AI-enabled scientific research at European scale.
The group brings together experts in high-performance computing, AI Factories, cloud services, research software, data infrastructures and the European Open Science Cloud. It identifies infrastructure requirements, interoperability challenges and governance mechanisms that support sustainable, secure and accessible AI services for research communities across disciplines.
Assessing future requirements for HPC, cloud and AI platforms.

Developing user-centred services and collaborative platforms.
Identifying strategic priorities for long-term sustainability and coordination.
RAISE FORUM enables structured discussion, consultation, and feedback within the Working Group.
It supports the exchange of perspectives on priorities, challenges, and opportunities in AI for science.
This forum supports discussion on AI infrastructure development, computing services, interoperability, research software and digital ecosystems that enable AI-driven science across Europe.
Selected experts contributing to the AI in Science Working Groups
Each Working Group brings together a selected group of experts contributing to the co-creation of the AI in Science Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda (SRIA). Members were appointed through an open call for expression of interest based on their expertise, experience, and ability to contribute to interdisciplinary collaboration across AI and scientific research domains.
